        What data is being collected?

        Usually, the data that we collect is your name, postal address, email and telephone number.
        As every case is different, as their needs, we may need to collect additional data. Should this situation arise, we will inform you at that time of the requirement for additional data and how that data will be used.
        In addition to the above, we use cookies on Conappsols. These are functional and third party cookies. Functional cookies are necessary to run our website. No personal data is collected by these types of cookies. Functional (necessary) cookies are allowed to be used on websites.
        We also use third party cookies, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and other Social Media Websites. Third-party cookies collect some personal data, such as IP Addresses, which are now classified as personal data. We have a separate policy to cover the cookies that we use. You can decide what cookies you allow and you can change your preferences easily on our Cookie Policy

        What is the legal basis for processing the data?

        Its use is necessary in relation to a service or a contract that you have entered into or because you have asked for something to be done so you can enter into a contract with us.
        Its use is in accordance with our legitimate interests, such as responding to queries or providing requested information.
        You have consented or explicitly consented to the using of your data (including special categories of data) in a specific way.

        Will the data be shared with any third parties?

        We do store your personal data on Microsoft Secure Servers, which have 'Privacy by Design' built into their Cloud Secure Servers. Microsoft Office 365 is compliant with GDPR and has all of the technical requirements included as standard in the Business Plan. The Microsoft Servers that we use are based in the EU.

        We also share data from our social media platforms with their respective owners, through the placement of cookies on our website. Please see our Cookie Policy for further information. We do not outsource the analytics of our sociial media platforms.

        Where is the data stored?

        Your Personal Data files are stored on Microsoft OneDrive for Business Secure Servers within the EU. The Secured Servers are based in Ireland and the Netherlands. The data is not considered as being transferred to a third country as the personal data stays within the EU. As OneDrive for Business is part of Office365 for Business, the list below shows the location of all Microsoft Secure Servers that we use, or may use into the future.

        How is the data secured?

        We take all reasonable steps (technically and organisationally) to protect your personal data. We will only work with third-party companies that are GDPR Compliant. As above, personal data submitted to Conappsols is held on Microsoft Secure Servers. Microsoft Office365 for Business, has been designed around GDPR compliance. This is why we have chosen this cloud based solution to protect your personal data.
        In summary, we use Microsoft Office365 Secure Servers because they include 'Privacy by Design' and they also use the most advanced level of encryption available. The data is fully encrypted while it sits in the database and as it moves between servers. Please see the short video below to get a better understanding of their encryption methods.         How will the information be used?

        Personal data you submit to Conappsols will only be used to contact you as necessary, e.g. to reply to a message you submit, to send on information requested or follow up information as discussed and agreed. Any personal data communicated via our online, email and phone support services will be treated in the strictest confidence.
        We will only respond to your initial contact with us and we will not market any product or services to you, unless you request us to. Sometimes follow up calls or information may be required from you. We will only make these follow up calls, with your consent.

        Your personal data, will be temporarily retained during your query.
        We may need to follow up on your query, with further information, if requested.
        Once your query is closed, we will delete your personal data.
        You will not receive any marketing information from us, based on your query.

        How long will the data be stored for?

        Your personal data will only be stored for as long as necessary. For queries, once answered and no further action is required, your data will be deleted, shortly thereafter. For work taken on, we will hold personal data for the duration of the contract. We will keep personal data on file for the duration of the project and for any support required thereafter. Once all contractual work has been completed, your personal data will be deleted shortly thereafter.

        What rights does the data subject have?

        You have rights as to how your personal data is stored, access and secured, under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
        Your rights include:
          • access to your information and receive copies of your information;
          • have inaccurate/incomplete information corrected and updated;
          • object to particular use of your personal data for our legitimate business interests or direct marketing purposes;
          • in certain circumstances, have your information deleted or our use of your data restricted;
          • in certain circumstances, a right not to be subject to solely automated decisions and where we make such automated decisions, a right to have a person review the decision;
          • exercise the right to data portability (i.e. obtain a transferable copy of your information we hold to transfer to another provider); and
          • to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
